The Hyundai ix20 - on sale in November
We got teased with the next instalment of the Hyundai world domination plan – the Hyundai ix20 – a few weeks before the Paris Motor Show, but only as a sketch tease. We had to wait another couple of weeks to get a real photo of the ix20 and then a reveal at Paris. But despite it only being last month that we got the first tease on the ix20 Hyundai will be ready to take orders next month, which means we’ll need to know what’s on offer and how much it costs.

The Peugeot take on the Toyota Aygo and Citroen C1 – the new Peugeot 108 – is going on sale in July in the UK and will cost from £8,245 for the 1.0-litre three-door in Access trim, topping out at £12,245 for the 1.2-litre Allure five-door. Not only is there a choice of three-door and five-door 108s, there’s also a choice of two engines -a 68bhp 1.0-litre 3-cylinder and the new 1.2-litre PureTech VTi – and four trim levels - Access, Active, Allure and Feline - although you’ll have to settle for Active or Allure if you want the Top! Cabrio.
Honda is dropping a larger, 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine into the Si versions of the redesigned Civic coupe and sedan, which go on sale this spring. The Civic Si powertrain also gets a new six-speed manual transmission. Honda on Thursday said it anticipates that the 2.4-liter engine will be rated at 200 hp.
